OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP NOVENA
A devotion dated to the 14th century when the image after having been stolen by a merchant was enshrined at the church of St. Matthew, the apostle, on March 27, 1499. The same day a miracle occurred: a man’s arm, crippled beyond use, was completely restored. Henceforth devotees around the world have received miracles of healing of and answer to their prayers.
This ministry prepares a weekly novena and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament which also now includes a weekly mass on Wednesday evenings. On 1st Wednesdays, a healing mass is celebrated and all the sick will be anointed with Holy Oils. Petitions of needs and thanksgiving are offered. Consider this ministry for developing your spiritual life through this devotion.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION Webpage
The role of a sacristan in the life of the parish is active and involves a good amount of creativity, organizational skills and diplomacy. Sacristans are responsible for preparing the Church for the Sacrifice of the Mass. They must work with all in ministry to ensure that there are altar servers, extraordinary ministers, lectors and ushers, and they must be able to fill in for any of these ministries. They must be alert and vigilant for any problems that could occur during the course of the Mass. They must keep God’s house in order. It is a challenging, but rewarding ministry to know that all has gone well during their watch.
