SYLLABUS & OPENING PRAYER: Bible Study-Lenten 2023-Genesis (Yr A)

LENTEN ALMSGIVING 2023

Dear Bible Study Students and Friends of St. Barnabas,

Fraternal Greetings and Lenten Blessings to you!  We pray that this season of Lent would help you to embark on a reflective journey to renew your spiritual life.  May the three pillars of Lent, (PrayerFasting, and Almsgiving) guide you to deepen your love for God and our neighbor.
In the spirit of living out the pillar of Lenten Almsgiving, we invite you, if you are interested, to join us supporting the Missionary Priests who are in need of assistance for their sustenance. Two years back you generously supported two priests for their mission in the difficult times of pandemic. We would once again encourage you to show your generosity towards two other missionary priests. Don’t feel pressured please. We do understand your family commitments. Our kindness and generosity would certainly help them to continue to serve God and His people in their poor Mission Parishes.
You could offer your generosity in two ways:

  1. Giving a Free will offering
  2. Requesting Mass Intentions

There are two options to submit your Lenten Almsgiving:

  1. You can mail or drop off your contribution to our parish office.  Please make checks payable to St Barnabas Church and write “Mission Priest Support” on the memo line of your check.
  2. You may also make your contribution electronically with your bank account or credit card using our online Faith Direct option.  Please type “Mission Priest Support” in the Note section.  Please use the following link: https://membership.faithdirect.net/givenow/CA794/42148

Your donation is tax deductible. May you have a fruitful Lent. We want to thank you for your kind and fraternal gesture towards missionary priests during this Blessed Season of Lent as part of your Lenten Observance.
With Prayers and Blessings, —Fr. Antony, Fr. Bernard and the Office Staff

**FR. BERNARD’S BIBLE STUDY IS BACK & IN-PERSON!** Online Zoom will still be available.
